We’re pretty sure that Motorola is going to be announce either the Motorola Droid HD aka Motorola Droid RAZR aka Motorola Spyder or the Motorola Xoom 2 at its event on October 18th. Luckily, both of these gadgets have been fond of making unofficial appearances and today, they have leaked out on camera once again courtesy of the folks over at Engadget.
In the new pictures of the Droid Spyder, we can now see the good old Verizon logo on the front and back of the device, and the 4G LTE symbol on the back. Also, previous reports suggest that the Spyder will also be made with Gorilla Glass, making it a very sturdy phone. You can also see the nice tactile back of the Spyder, which is rumored to have a Kevlar coating. The source who sent the pics says that the Motorola DROID RAZR (Spyder) in the photos is currently overclocked to 1.5 GHz, however, its final version will reportedly be reduced to 1.2 GHz, as has been suggested by earlier reports.
For the 8-inch Xoom 2 Media Edition, the source who provided the pictures states that it is in “better shape” and is suffering from less bugs than earlier prototypes. This is one of the Xooms that is in the works by Motorola. The other is a 10.1-inch model.
