Today we are going to discus two most popular smartphones HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy 3. HTC One X or the newly announced Samsung Galaxy S3 is probably one that many people have asked themselves more than once. Samsung has recently launched the successor of it’s rather successful handset Galaxy S2. Both are high end smartphones and both popular phones are running quad core chips. The S3 is up for pre order now and faces the HTC One X as its prime competitor.
Processor and OS:
The HTC One X smartphone is powered by a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with ULP GeForce GPU and Samsung Galaxy S3 is boosted by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 Exynos 4212 Quad processor with Mali-400MP GPU. Both have powerful processor but HTC One X processor is better than Samsung Galaxy S3. HTC One X is running on Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and Samsung Galaxy S3 has upgraded Android OS, v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
RAM and Memory:
HTC One X has 1GB of RAM and 32 GB (26 GB user-available) internal storage. It has no expendable memory support. Samsung Galaxy S3 has 1GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB internal storage which is double time more than HTC One X. It has also up to 64 GB expendable memory support which is not available in HTC One X.
The S3 is up for pre order now and faces the HTC One X as its prime competitor HTC One X has g 4.7 inch Super IPS LCD 2 screen, running at 720p HD resolution sees the HTC One X shine. What’s more, it uses the super-tough Gorilla Glass to keep it from getting too scuffed or scratched. Samsung Galaxy S3 has 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD 1280×720 display sits on the front of the Galaxy S3 and it’s a stunner. Though its extra size and resolution mean it “only” hits a 309ppi pixel density, to the naked eye that won’t make a difference. It’s a more than a match for the HTC One X, and with our personal preference for AMOLED displays’ deep contrasts and vibrant colors coming in to play, it just edges it here.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S III and the HTC One X feature 8 MP cameras that are capable of taking photos at max resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. Both feature single LED on the back and, thanks to their zippy processors, both offer 1080p and 720p video recording with simultaneous image capture. This puts the Samsung Galaxy S3’s camera at an advantage over the HTC One X. The HTC One X uses an outdated sensor and lens.
