AOKP ROM is always famous for its customization and everyday a new device is getting unofficial AOKP ROM. XDA senior member has released unofficial AOKP ROM for Galaxy S2 which brings smoother interface, improved notifications menu, advance voice recognition, smarter keyboard.
This is an unofficial ROM and AOKP based Jelly bean is in its early development stages so there may be bugs present and some features may not work properly.

How to Install AOKP ROM on Galaxy S2 I9100
Step 1- Backup all your data like SMS, contacts, APN settings. SMS with the help of “SMS Backup and Restore app”. Then Backup your contacts by using Sync with Gmail app. To backup your phone logs use “Call log and restore app”. Then take Backup of your APN settings. Go to Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names and note down.
Step 2- Then install Stock Android 4.0.3 XXLPX firmware.
Step 3- Install Clockworkmod recovery.
Step 4- Download AOKP Based Jelly Bean ROM from official development page.
Step 5- Copy the downloaded ROM to memory card of Galaxy S2.
Step 6 Switch off your phone and reboot it into CWM recovery mode by pressing Volume up + Home buttons together.
Step 8- Then select wipe data, after that select yes on the next screen. Wait until the data wipe is complete.
Step 9- Select install Zip from SDcard, then select choose zip from SDcard. Then select that ROM package by scrolling from SD card. Then select Yes for confirm installation, then the ROM will start installing.
Step 10- After installation, go back to main recovery menu and select reboot system now to reboot the Galaxy S2 and boot up into AOKP. Please be patience first boot will take some time.
Congratulations, AOKP based on Jelly Bean Android 4.1 is now installed on your Galaxy S2.

Hi,
I have installed JB_AOKP_GT-I9100_R25_Preview5_KernelFixed_AROMA and after booting, I stuck in boot animation of unicorn. What should I do now? Following image animation http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/agjFanK-sjQ/mqdefault.jpg
Try to clear cache and factory reset using Recovery. And install the ROM again. If you are still stuck at the boot animation better install some other ROM.
